Unsa Hangzhou Packaging Manufacturing Co.
Unsa Ambalaj, the leading Global FIBC producer, announces that they have successfully obtained the BRC / IoP certification (British Retail Consortium / Institute of Packaging) for its China Plant, Unsa Hangzhou Packaging Manufacturing Co.
Prior to this, Unsa China has been granted with AIB certification having achieved an “Excellent” score rating in May 2008.
Unsa Hangzhou is already accredited and fully operating in accordance with ISO 22000 certification. ISO 22000 integrates the principles of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system and application steps developed by the Codex Alimentarius Commission.

05.2007 Total '07 Exhibition
Ünsa has participated the Total '07 Exhibition taking place in Birmigham, England between 15th-18th May 2007.
As the UK's processing & packaging show, Total Exhibition '07 covers all sectors including raw materials, solids and fluids handling, control and instrumentation, FMCG processing equipment and industrial plant & equipment, contract packing and manufacturing, packaging machinery, packaging materials, containers and design.
11.2006 Emballage '06 Exhibition
Ünsa has participated in the Emballage exhibition which took place in Paris, France between the dates 20th-24th November. The exhibition boasted more than 2,300 exhibitors and welcomed more than 108,000 professional visitors.
With more than 51% non-French exhibitors and 35% international visitors hailing from over 130 countries in the year 2006, the Emballage Exhibition preserved its place as one of the most international shows in the packaging industry.
07.2006 New Production Plant in Hangzhou
Ünsa has established a 100% self owned and fully integrated manufacturing facility of 25.000 m2 in Hangzhou, China, which began to serve the packaging industry in 2006.
Representing an investment of 15 million US dollars, Ünsa China already has more than 400 employees and features the same Swiss and German made production machinery that is installed in Ünsa's two manufacturing plants in Istanbul. With an initial capacity of 1.5 million FIBCs a year, the annual production of Ünsa China is expected to surpass 2.5 million FIBCs in 2008.
