Clean Room Production

Ünsa acknowledges the necessity for an effective hygiene policy to fulfill the requirements of companies involved in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Ünsa's aim is to be the leading food and pharmaceutical FIBC manufacturing company in the world. According to its hygiene and quality policy, Ünsa is continuously upgrading its production facility to achieve the highest standards of hygiene required. Considerable effort is made, identifying the critical control points during production in order to eliminate the possibility of contamination.

 


The Clean Room of Ünsa is segregated from the general production area. The operators are required to adhere to special regulations, which include wearing company issued clothing, protective head and foot wear. Only the most experienced operators are selected and continuously trained for the hygiene production lines.

All manufacturing facilities of Ünsa are both HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and BRC / IoP (British Retail Consortium / Institute of Packaging) certified.

 

Ünsa hygiene grade FIBCs are manufactured from 100% polypropylene and where applicable, pharma grade inner liners. All food and pharma grade FIBCs are produced in a purpose built Clean Room commissioned to the highest hygiene standards. The high-tech equipment installed ensures that the FIBCs manufactured satisfy the demand of companies within the food and pharmaceutical industry.

 

Standard equipment incorporated in the Clean Room includes:

  • Ionized air-wash units to ensure that finished FIBCs are contamination free
  • Ultrasonic cutting equipment to prevent loose thread contamination
  • Sewing machines with embedded heat-sealing cutting units and vacuum systems to prevent loose thread contamination
  • Metal Detector
  • Air filtration with two stage high efficiency filters
  • Twin door system to prevent contamination from outside and to ensure that the Clean Room is positively pressurized

Ünsa operators and suppliers have been trained to understand and to work according to the highest hygiene standards. All employees receive documented training in personal hygiene, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), cleaning and sanitation procedures, personal safety and their responsibilities within the HACCP program.
